Center Parcs Family Challenge - Gone fishing

Living on the coast we see quite a lot of boats but we really don't go on them enough. I keep meaning to take the girls on a Ferry across the Mersey like my Grandma used to take me but haven't managed to yet. They do like it at the waterfront and one of our favouite places to go is Otterspool park where they have a spectacularly located boat-themed park. Ever since she was very small V has loved being 'the captain of the ship'!

But what is ever better than a Cardboard box boat? This is their most recent creation where they went on a fishing expedition from our front room. Not just any fishing expedition mind you, but one to space where they met alien fishermen and invited them back to tea so they could cook their catches together! I love where small people's imaginations can take them and this adventure was especially special as for the first time the baby darling properly joined in, helping her sister colour their boat and obediently taking her position whenever ordered to by her big sister otherwise known as The Captain. She wasn't quite so keen on keeping her fishing hat on though...
