Center Parcs Family Challenge - A Nature Checklist

It is easy to spot nature on a Center Parcs break. You wake up to the sounds of the forest and step out for a morning coffee with this amazing backdrop. I actually like to get up before anybody else (especially the babies!) is awake to make the most of the natural peace!

Of course once they are up there is no shortage of visitors for their amusement. This year we were lucky to have a visiting family of baby ducks. Although the baby darling hasn't quite grasped the concept of feeding them yet and prefers to eat the bread herself and V got quite worried when they tried to follow her back in the lodge and quickly shut the door!

We were also lucky to catch sight of a baby deer in the woodland behind our lodge.

Even though we are now home the nature spotting does not have to end - this week I was surprised to find that they have a nature trail set up in the Liverpool One park.

And so while V went looking for various creatures and flowers and the baby darling tried to eat them all I was relaxing and admiring the view from one of their comfy deckchairs! I still managed to spy plenty of butterflies and seagulls and heard lots of bees! :)

If you would like the chance to become a wildcard Center Parcs Family Blogger like us and make the most of the Nature Spotting opportunities a trip to Center Parcs brings then you could enter this months family challenge.
