The snow had melted, the sun was shining and the temperature was creeping above freezing so I thought it was only right to inject a bit of Spring into my weekend wardrobe. Cue my very colourful and flowery dress from Joules. I love this dress, it's so comfy and forgiving and, of course, pretty. Feeling the sunshiney love I paired it with my pink tights. At least I thought that they were pink until I put on my pink shoes and then they seemed purple *confused face* I think that officially they are 'cerise'. My pink shoes were a bargain bucket buy from good old Dotty P's in the January sales a few years ago. They literally cost about £2 (actually I think they may have even been just £1 but that just seems completely ridiculous!) and it would have been a crime not to buy them. They can't fail but make me feel happier when I'm wearing them, extremely cheap therapy!
For my jewelry there is something old and something new. My necklace is an old treasure I came across while doing some sorting out over the weekend. I think it may also have been from Dotty P's but up to ten years ago! I'm afraid it's not a very good picture (I blame the photographer ;)) but it is like a rusted gold colour with gold hearts, pearls and yellow crystals which I felt went well with the dress. My watch was a christmas present from my sister-in-law and is in a lovely rose gold effect, I still haven't adjusted the links though!
