What I wore Wednesday

As I had the occasion to dress up more times in the past week than I normally have in a month (or three) I thought I will have to take part in What I wore Wednesday this week and show off one of my more glamorous outfits. Unfortunately being so busy with all of these social occasions meant I didn't remember to actually take any pictures of myself in these outfits and being the one always behind the camera I couldn't even find any suitably showing them off! The best I have are a couple of Instagram pics I posted and another I have just taken of the most evil shoes that ever graced a foot.

I think we can see that Christmas is all about the sparkle for me! The first outfit is an old favourite Warehouse black lace over gold glitter skirt worn with Star by Julien Macdonald for Debenhams gold sequinned black jumper. The second is one of my new favourite, gorgeous White Stuff dresses. This one is called 'hope' and I picked it out as my Christmas dress for its festive colour and beautiful print featuring reindeer. I wore it with gold glitter tights. Because I could. The shoes in both these pictures are my current favourites, bargains from Dotty ps in the autumn from the Olivia Rubin range. The comfiest slipper shoes ever with a slight evil twist thanks to the studded toes. Not like the shoes in the last picture which are pure evil. Beauty is pain right? Each year I think il be fine as I'm only going from the car into someone's house only to find myself barefoot an hour later wishing I'd painted my toenails...

  1. I can't stand to look at my feet if my toenails aren't painted! New Look do REALLY comfy shoes and if all else fails slip some party feet in!
