Tropical Shores...?

When I saw the theme for The Gallery I immediately had in mind the image I wanted to use. it was from our honeymoon and of an idyllic beach on Pangkor Laut in Malaysia. Unfortunately my lack of organisation means that picture is still on our hard drive storage box wherever it is that my husband stores it! No problem I thought, there will be so many other pictures I could say the same about. And there are. I could choose an alternative beach or city landscape from my travels, a picture of our gorgeous daughter or a pretty snap of cakes I've baked or something else that's caught my eye. I could go through the archives forever. As I opened them up I spied a recently created folder from last week when my husband downloaded my photos from my Blackberry before I made the move to the dark side and got my first iphone (yes I know I'm a traitor/very late to the party depending on which camp you're in) So I thought I'd have a quick look and I came across this photo which I remembered loving as I took:

The resolution isn't brilliant from my not so great Blackberry camera but it reminds me of how amazing the view was and the surprise we got as it came into sight as we reached the top of a hilly walk. Can you guess where it is? I think it could just as easily be Malaysia or another foreign coastline. In fact it is good old North Wales, taken last August bank holiday weekend when we holidayed at theHafan Y Môr Haven holiday park near Pwllheli. It was a beautiful setting and we had such a good time. Actually my current header photo was taken there too *sigh* I want to go back now...

This post was written for the 100th week of The Gallery (how wonderful is that, congratulations Tara! Thank you for bringing The Gallery to us) for the theme 'Picture Postcard'. Head on over to see all the other 100th week entries.

Thank you for your comments, they make my day! :)
