‘No, mummy. No!’
OK, I thought. I’m interrupting her viewing pleasure. Fair enough.
Later that evening when she didn’t want to go in her cot I was rocking her and thought I’d try a lullaby that always used to work its magic. The almost asleep baby fought to lift her head to tell me:
‘Shhh Mummy. Shhhhh!’
OK. Point taken.

Heehee! I can TOTALLY see this happening with me and Little Bee! Don't worry - you still have the shower where you can belt out the tunes!
ReplyDeleteShe picks her moments. If it's the middle of the night and she wants in the big bed she'll let me sing the rainbow song til I send myself to sleep! :)
