My World

This image makes me burst with pride. Not the photo itself, well okay it is quite a nice photo so I am also proud of it. But mostly I am proud of what is in the photo. My husband and my daughter, my two greatest accomplishments. This is an extra special moment as Baby V has just taken some of her first steps. She is so thrilled with herself that she throws her arms around daddy's neck for a cuddle. She is giggling with delight. I am so proud of her. How clever she is in this moment. And how loving. I am so proud of hubby too. What an amazing daddy he has been from day one. How gentle and loving he is with her. And he's a pretty good husband too! Nothing makes me happier than seeing them together. Than being with them. They are my world. I am very lucky. And proud.

This post is for week 24 of the gallery, for the theme 'A Photo I'm Proud of'. Head on over to see everyone elses's entries, I for one can't wait!

  10. I'm very well, thanks. I'm 23 weeks today and found out at last scan that it's a boy! First baby so I'm still blissfully unaware of the horrors ahead.
I look forward to the freedom of being a mum - only if you have a very stressful job does that make any sense :)

  15. Beautiful photo -you can feel the love and pride coming through, it kind of reminds me of the classic 80's shot of man holding baby, that same feel
