Nature - it's not all Green(s) and Blacks!

Of course when I think of Nature I initially think of green grass and black earth, of blue skies and turquoise oceans, of beautiful flowers and enchanting trees, of birds in their nests and monkeys running wild.

Nature is all of the forces at work which cause the phenomena of the material world. In it's most ancient form Nature means Birth.
But Nature is also a person's character, their innate qualities. It can be hereditary, influencing personality. An inherent impulse determining action.

Baby V has inherited parts of her Nature from us. Thankfully she was a chilled baby, calm like us both. As she grows we glimpse more and more of her character. She is very clever (like her mummy) always eager to learn but sometimes overcome by frustration (like her daddy!). An infectious giggler (like mummy), mostly well behaved but with a mischievous streak (like daddy!)

It is an amazing privilege watching her grow and develop every day, we look on in awe. Truly Nature at her best.

This post was written for week 21 of The Gallery over at Sticky Fingers. Head on over to take a look at all the amazing entries for the theme of Nature this week.

  1. Aw, great photos, she's adorable!

And my little girl has that stripy dress. I love it but she's going to be too big for it this winter - She's going to be wearing it over jeans me thinks!

  10. Thank you to everyone for all your lovely comments, making me burst with pride even more. Thought I would try the alternative meaning to the usual seeings as I use 'Nature' pictures often enough for my gallery entries as it is! Not that I don't post pictures of Baby V all the time too, any excuse really!

  13. Thankyou both so much. One of her favourite things is to sneak into the magazine rack and make a huge mess of paper! The second is one of our all time favourites x
