The Enchanted Wood

I was very excited by this weeks theme at the gallery - A Novel Idea- as I am a lifelong bookworm. It was however difficult to choose a single book to depict and I actually might have cheated and included a few more of my options but am sadly lacking in time!

So I present to you:

'The Enchanted Wood'

My all time favourite childhood book by Enid Blyton. I was a huge Enid Blyton fan and read her books over and over. All of the faraway books are my favourite really. I love the magic, the ever changing lands, the wonderful characters and the fabulous treats they come across up that Faraway Tree! I even based Baby V's nursery on an 'enchanted wood' theme in a fairytale and flowers sort of way. I can't wait to read the stories to her and hope she grows up loving them as much as I do. Right, I might just have enough time to fit a chapter in before bed...
